Flux 7th Annual Retreat At Little Pond, Pictures
Photo by Isaiah Tanenbaum. Post by August Schulenburg.
We’re back from our 7th annual retreat at Little Pond, and it was wonderful! The following are some pictures from the intrepid lenses of Isaiah Tanenbaum and Ken Glickeld, with a more in-depth report to follow.

Tiffany was back! I think Alisha speaks for all of us with this smile. My goodness, we missed her just about as much as you can miss a person.

From Adam’s play Mercy, Orville knows something that Ian doesn’t.

Though he will find out by the end of the play…

Adam has an idea about the play to share with Kelly, right…there.

There was a battle between the bros (Will and Matt) and the bras (Anna and Sol). Can you guess who won the Great Bro Bra-ttle of 2012?

Oh sure, I didn’t need to have Ryan deliver that Scotty the Hotty monologue leaning against his bike…but I’m not sorry for it, either.

Let’s all raise a glass to Jason’s awesome read in Johnna’s play, Hued Moll!

Carissa built the butterfly statue for their shared role in Tidal Devices, and Rachael almost got it to fly.

That doesn’t mean that everything was amicable between them, as this shot from Once Upon a Bride There was a Forest demonstrates.

Director and playwright seem to think the slap works.

You know what’s a beautiful thing? Adam’s new play, A Thing of Beauty. Also, reuniting the Joe/Allegra team from Pretty Theft!

Sometimes, the difference between a scene and the partying that happens after the scenes is difficult to discern (but this is a scene from Tidal Devices).

Dr. Robidas has some bad news for Matt in Adam’s A Thing of Beauty.

One of these Jane the Plain cast members is actually a cylon. Can you possibly guess which one?

Chinaza was chewing up his role in The Fields of Blue and Glow like, well, much like an apple.
Photo by Isaiah Tanenbaum. Pictured: Jodi Witherell, Kia Rogers, Becky Byers, Marnie Schulenburg.
Kia and Jodi acting debut? Oh yes. Um, Becky and Marnie did stuff, too, in Johnna’s awesome new play, Skinless.

Speaking of unmitigated awesome. Rachael is so bad-ass in this shot, she turned it black and white. (As Emmi in Skinless).

Trust me: after watching Jane as Sylvia in Skinless, you definitely want her as your graduate adviser. She feels so strongly about helping you!

Isaiah and Becky tired out after some Jane the Plain wind sprints…or maybe just from taking all these pictures (and playing all those board games).

Be good to your stage manager. Be very, very good to your stage manager.

When two playwrights are really in love, sometimes, magical pictures like this happen.

We staged plays all over the place this year, including this delightfully creepy back barn.
Blargh! I’ve run out of time, though believe me, this is just the tip of the beautiful image iceberg. Much more over the next few days!

No. He *needed* to give that monologue against the bike.
