Breathe Free at La Plaza Community Garden

On May 24th, Flux and New Sanctuary brought scenes from the first incarnation of Breathe Free to the La Plaza Cultural Community Garden as part of the 2015 Loisaida Fest. We brought Mother of Exiles  and Gang of Witnesses, and in between those performances, Ravi Ragbir from New Sanctuary spoke about their work. It was wonderful to have an opportunity to share these scenes with a wider audience, and to spotlight the immigrant rights work of New Sanctuary to an audience that Flux might not have otherwise reached.
