Rebecca Roman Redd spotlight: Alisha Spielmann
We’re thrilled to continue the spotlight of the creative team for Rebecca Roman Redd at the Most Dangerous Hour with Alisha Spielmann, who played Emma May. Alisha is a Flux Creative Partner, acting in productions like Jane the Plain, Sans Merci, Rizing, The Sea Concerto, and World Builders. We asked Alisha a few questions based on Montserrat Mendez’s dizzyingly funny and brilliant new play, which you can learn more about here.
On a scale of 1 to werewolf, how close of a relationship do you have with the moon?
I very much follow the moons waxing and waning, when it’s full, new, lunar and solar eclipsed and all the signs it is in when these things happen, so I’d say I’m more of an astrowerewitch perhaps.
Finish the sentence: the best kind of tart is…
…the tart that is on my plate.
If you were a Billy Carver book, what would your title be?
Billy Carver and the Enchanted Amulet of the Elderflower Mountains.
