Anna Lamadrid acted in all four scenes of our March 26nd ForePlay: Human 2.0, and recently Assistant Directed Menders. This multi-talented, super-versatile theatre artist makes every room she walks into better (you’re lucky, Washington).
What crazy invention are you most looking forward to in the future?
The hover board. It won’t be the future, until I see hover boards on the streets.
In 2051, theatre will be______
….in 3D…wait…damn…ok…I saw an ad for a TV in 4D…so I will go with 4D.
If you could evolve one of your own senses, which would it be, and why?
Does your 6th sense count? Because I’ve always wanted ESP…telepathy would be pretty awesome.
For the human race to evolve, it will need to_______
Reboot and reprogram.
A time-travelling-you from the future suddenly appears with something important to tell present-you. What do they have to say?
Ryan Gosling is waiting for you to complete him…LOL….I don’t know probably be patient and stop worrying so much.
Will the future be more like Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, or the Jetsons?
In my dreams, it will be like the Jetsons…in reality…it will probably be like the Terminator future.
If you had the opportunity to think and feel directly into a computer, would you take it?
Is it addictive? Or can it be a one time thing…cause I might do it once, or twice…ok three times tops!

Anna Lamadrid was recently seen as the Tomater in The Myths We Need or How to Begin by Larry Kunofsky for Purple Rep. She originated the role of Carolina in Tanya Saracho’s NY premiere of Enfrascada with Clubbed Thumb. She has participated in readings/workshops for The Lark, Clubbed Thumb, The Flea, INTAR, Flux Ensemble, NYU and Repertorio Espanol. Company member of Wreckio Ensemble.
