DEINDE Review: Matthew Taylor, BORO Mag

Queens represent! Our stay in Long Island City has been a warm one, and Matthew Taylor’s review for BORO Mag is a welcome addition.  This quote is particularly pleasing:

“The play, which is put on by Flux Theatre Ensemble, is engaging for its humor, its rich characters and the actors who bring them to life, and for the complex and chilling inquiries into how we define being human as technology becomes an increasingly prevalent force in our lives.”

I greatly appreciate the embrace of both the humor and the complexity, the characters and the questions. Some reviews have questioned the balance between those forces, so it is heartening for a reviewer to juxtapose them in this way.
