Thank you to everyone who brought food and attended our Food:Soul of Once Upon A Bride There Was A Forest, and a huge note of gratitude to playwright Kristen Palmer for letting us play in her wonderful, moving world. We had a great time working on the play, and it felt like the audience really went with us on Josie’s unexpected journey in the woods.

Just look at these lovebirds, Warren and Josie! I’m sure nothing will go wrong on the way to their eventual wedding day.

But then Warren meets some interesting people, like Belle, whose dad is the Mayor AND the Police Chief, and that coffee shop run by this Mysterious Man…

Meanwhile, Josie finds some, um, gainful employment with Eugenia, the matriarch of a family with means, but what she really wants is access to…

Everett, the man who reminds her of someone important that left a long time ago…

…which causes Eugenia some distress, but she is, shall we say…

…resourceful. Now Josie can stay around Everett, but communication will be a wee more challenging, especially as she has to take care of…

…wee little Maggie, Eugenia’s child, who screams when anyone other than Josie holds her…

…except, wait, why doesn’t Maggie cry when held by the Mysterious Mr. Livingstone?

No time to ask questions! Belle’s getting married! But uh oh, who is her fiance?

The power of charades is strong, but is it as strong as…

…the power of cupcakes? (He does love cupcakes). ((Yummy, yummy, yummy)).

And then a pink and frilly fog descends, and before you know it…

…it’s the day of your wedding!

And then shit gets real.

Painfully real.

But in the end, some of the mysteries are revealed, and our lovers may just be reunited…
