Dramatists Guild Fund and FluxForward

We’re thrilled to announce that Flux is once again a recipient of a Dramatists Guild Fund grant! This grant is particularly exciting because it will help support FluxForward, a brand new room in our creative home. FluxForward is an open-ended playwright residency program that includes significant developmental support, a commission, the strong possibility of a production, and the hope of participating playwrights calling Flux a creative home.

All of the grant funds will go directly to supporting participating playwrights at a time when we’re thinking hard about how to increase compensation levels for all our collaborators. FluxForward is also our attempt to rethink the role of playwrights within ensemble structures to lead toward more equitable, impactful relationships.

We’ll be talking a lot more about FluxForward in the very near future, but for the moment, we’re celebrating this great news along with many other deserving companies. A huge thanks to the Dramatists Guild Fund for this empowering support!
